bindercoverThink about training sessions you've attended - what made them memorable for you?

We'd be willing to bet that most of the things you remember have more to do with how the training was presented to you than what was covered. That's not to say course content isn't important, but what really makes the difference between memorable and forgettable training is the extent to which it involves learners, particularly when it moves them from theory to application in ways that meet real-world needs.

We developed IDEA Ltd.'s Instructional Design Workshop to help people create engaging and involving training sessions that achieve results. Whether you're a full-time or "incidental" trainer, this program will help you use a step-by-step approach to develop training that works.

During this intensive session, you'll:

  • Identify characteristics of adult learners, including style preferences and factors that help or interfere with learning
  • Follow a 9-step process to identify needs, set goals and develop instruction that engages and involves learners, using practical tools and templates
  • Learn strategies for presenting and promoting your program efficiently and effectively
  • Identify factors that contribute to successful testing and implementation of your program

We can tailor this program to meet your specific needs, using your specific programs or working on more generic examples. While the program can be covered in two days, we strongly recommend a three-day duration to allow greater opportunities for discussion and practice.
